1983 Chinese Min Shan AKS Listing ID: 1582713

Super rare, early pre-ban, Chinese Norinco under-folder AKS made by the Min Shan factory and imported by Clayco Sports, Clay Center, Kansas. All matching numbers. Front sight is the early design "hood.” The receiver cover has the early import marking: "Alterations to this Firearm are Unsafe and Illegal."

Rifle was converted to western style ergonomics with an AR style adjustable stock using a USMachineguns adapter, SAW style pistol grip, Midwest Industries railed gas tube, SeeAll CQB sight, flash-can/muzzle brake, Solar Tactical magazine well adapter, MagPul forward angled grip. Comes with 3-30 round magazines.

I still have the original black/dark green "polylite” (phenolic fiberglass) furniture and under-folder hardware for anyone wishing to restore it back to original configuration (painted). I purchased it new, back in 1983. Never shot it until 2007 went I took it to the range. It was then that I modified it. Zeroed the SeeAll sight but never shot it again as it wasn’t my primary go-to-battle rifle, so I can legitimately say I fired 100 rounds through it since new. Price reflects the conversion. $1500.
