This is a CMP 1911 with both a Colt frame and slide. The frame is from 1944. The slide is faded likely from the multiple refurbish arsenal trips.
I'll bet it has some stories to tell. This is the best way to get a real 1911. They were issued and used in service up until 1985.
This includes the case, the lock a redacted certificate copy.
Not looking to make money, more just rotating out.
