Brand new built transmission put in at this time last year with over 30k miles put on it since (have proof) rear main seal was also done at the same time,
Almost 420,000 miles on body & cluster, but transmission was rebuilt at 380k (have proof) & motor was rebuilt at 300k (done by previous owner no proof of that)
I have owned it and it has been my daily driver for over 2 years, I have put over 100k miles on it and it has never been anything but reliable for me, with that being said This is a 22 year old truck so it’s not perfect by any means but it is free of any major mechanical problems.
It Has ice cold Ac and hot heat. (But blend door sticks so I keep it on the Ac side and don’t even mess with the heat) The A/c even though it blows ice cold it only blows on 5 the highest setting, (was told it was resistor or something like that) but I only run it on high anyways so not having low (1-4) has never bothered me. The mechanical things i know it needs are
-radiator,
-water pump,
-knock sensors,
-blend door
-resistor
It has dual exhaust with cats cut from the stock mufflers back, but the mufflers and pipes are still hung up under there in place and ran to back if you want to have them welded up. They have been cut since the new transmission went in It has stock rims with 33” inch mud tires with plenty of life left and no uneven wear, leaks water from the water pump seal so obviously have to keep it full of water if you’re going to be driving it, got a cooler in the back I keep full of water I can send with it, (normally just fill it up in the morning and it’s good to go for the day) sometimes filling up multiple times a day is needed depending on how much driving is done, it does leak oil from the valve covers they need to be resealed, normally check oil and add as needed once a week. Oil change was just done about 500 miles ago and it always gets changed every 3000 miles with good oil, both of the rear brakes pads and 1 new rotor and 1 new caliper was done within the last 1000 miles, (it could use a new rotor for the other side that wasn’t replaced because the other rotor it has a groove so it is kinda noisy)
The truck does have some minor rust, nothing major at all, the frame is clean and there is no rust on there but there is a small spot in the back of bed, 2 tiny spots at bottom of doors and one tiny spot on the hood, will include pictures. The rear bumper is toast, I pulled a buddy home and he tied the strap to my bumper so it’s bent and messed up, the drivers door has a scrap/dent on it, the body is not perfect, neither is the interior, needs headliner redone, a new drivers side window switch because right now I put the window up with a pair of scissors because the button portion of the switch is missing, the drivers seat has a tear on the side, it is electric though and adjusts several different ways, it does have the flip up console and center seat the dash is messed up and will need to be replaced or a cover thrown over it, it does have a very nice kenwood radio with Bluetooth in it. 4x4 is dogleg and locks right in no problems it works great, both CV axels were replaced with brand new ones at the end of last year
The gas tank has one regular strap on it and one OEM strap on it, also the tailgate is a different color, the oil pressure & gear indicator on the cluster does not work, everything else does
