You are viewing a "rare vintage" Little Enfield model 1853 pattern double band percussion musket  in 30? cal. that was mfg. by RSAF in the United Kingdom from 1853 to 1871.  The orig. 28" round smooth bore barrel has a brass front sight and marked "The Little Enfield" on the top rear of the barrel. The barrel has a "smooth & clean" bore and all the rust-free metal parts have turned to smooth blue/brown patina. The proof marked lock works fine and the two stage trigger work excellent. The walnut stock shows a fancy grain and an old gloss finish with no cracks, just some shallow minimal handling marks & fine scratches. The curved steel butt-plate is the original. A vintage 1853 pattern "Little Enfield" musket that will compliment a fine antique firearm collection and in "nice & clean" cond. overall.
