I’m posting this as a warning to fellow FloridaGunTrader users.

I recently had to remove all of my listings from FloridaGunTrader because I was repeatedly contacted via email by individuals claiming to be from FloridaGunTrader "support." They asked for my credit card information for account verification – a classic phishing scam.

This is a serious security issue. I urge all users to be vigilant and not respond to any emails requesting sensitive information.

FloridaGunTrader’s website managers need to immediately address this problem and protect the safety and integrity of their platform. Scammers have found a way to target sellers, and without stronger security measures, honest users are being put at risk.

In the meantime, I highly recommend:

Never sharing payment or personal information via email.

Meeting buyers and sellers in person, at secure locations.

Using secure payment methods only when necessary.

If you’ve received similar emails, report them to FloridaGunTrader and do not engage. Let’s protect each other and push for better safeguards on the platform.
